            I can’t find peace.. It’s just too much noise.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/a&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
&lt;div data-rss-type="text"&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Imagine being in a room full of chaos and you can’t remove yourself.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           You’re stuck hearing all of the noise.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           You try to cover your ears, but the sound still comes through. You just can’t find any peace. Now you can’t think, you’re frustrated, and you begin to feel numb and empty sitting in the chaos.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           I can’t imagine that being a place anyone would consciously choose to put themselves in, but we often end up there. How so?
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Well let’s imagine for a second more.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Imagine that room of chaos is filled with self confusion, confusion of worth and self image, ideas of who you should be, where you should be in life, society’s image of how you should look, act or dress, outside opinions of who you are, ideas of the typical role of a woman, school/work demands, your need to provide a service for others, duties at home, a clock that is constantly ticking, temporary moments and activities that give only a piece of happiness, that wine bottle calling your name, that person asking you to come hang out or lay up for a little fling, that music filling your ears influencing your thoughts, and all the many things that you can continue to think of that call for your attention, press you, or enter into your mind and spirit. All those things that take from you and leave you empty or with no energy to pour out.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           HELP?
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            ﻿
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           I am sure you could think of more. The list of things that could be feeling us up could go on.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           I know I could add on. I remember a time when life seemed that it had just thrown way too many lemons for me to even have the energy to make lemonade. I was struggling to stay above water. No music playing. No one speaking. But I felt that there was too much noise. I felt a sensation of drainage with no energy to pour out. Personally I was struggling with myself. Not knowing what I wanted. What to do. Who to turn to. Physically I was tired. I didn’t have the energy to keep going. I was in a lump of confusion on top of dealing with others. School. A relationship. Demands of other people. Demands of society. I allowed myself to feed into anything in the world that promised to give me joy, or spurts of it any way.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           I had given myself to everything besides the one thing that really needed my attention. And what is that one thing?
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           That one thing that I 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           neglected
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            to fill was my 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           spirit
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           .
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           I was empty 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           spiritually.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           I had gotten so caught up in everything that I felt was consuming me or that demanded attention immediately that I forgot about my spiritual health. I forgot that I needed to continue to chase after Him. I forgot that I needed time with God. I forgot God never asked me to go through anything alone. I forgot that He sweeps in to give me strength where I am weakened. I forgot that I could not stand alone, especially in this life and world that demand so much.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           I was disrupted. I was feeding all the wrong things into my spirit, and I wasn’t seeking to 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           properly 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           nourish my spirit.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           If you have found yourself in this state of confusion, numbness, and lack of energy lately, know that you can come out.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           If you want to gain your sense of peace back and start to fix your spirit, here are some things that may help.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;ul&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Take a conscious note of all the things that demand things of you.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Note everything that is not healthy for you.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Declare that you will cut off anything that is not making you happy.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Declare that you will not give up on yourself.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Throw out any unhealthy and belittling thoughts.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Plan some time for God. Everyday.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Read the word, pray, and meditate often.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Go after your peace and happiness at all costs.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Remember that you cannot stand alone. Allow God in and don’t neglect entering His presence.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Talk to God throughout the day. Release those thoughts to Him.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/ul&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Get your peace back for you, Glow Girl.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Maintain your spiritual health.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           You can do it!
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Here is a prayer for you.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;h1&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

            Making A Decision For Me
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Making A Decision For Me
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/h1&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           I have always been what some may call a ‘yes woman’. So afraid of conflict and disappointing others, that I allowed myself to be consumed in what I thought others expected of me. Each time I neglected to give myself a voice or stick up for what I thought, I allowed a piece of myself to slip away. Piece by piece, time after time, experience after experience. Until one day, I looked in the mirror and I could no longer recognize myself. I know this sounds oh so cliche, but it’s true. Sadly, I let my voice fade. I didn’t feel like myself and it even showed on the outside. I lost my glow. I am here to tell you, I thought I’d be the last person to have this happen, but it wasn’t hard to lose sight of myself when I wasn’t my first priority.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           If this has been you, I want to encourage you that this can change. The first step towards a new glow is deciding to 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           allow yourself to step beyond your comfort zone for YOU
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           . It’s easy to allow what others say to manifest in your thoughts. Influence your actions. Distract you. It’s easy to accept what others throw at you because you don’t want conflict. It’s easy to repeat cycles, but what’s hard is deciding to
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            finally
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           say yes
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            to a change for you.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           I’m still gathering pieces to put myself together again. It’s a process. A new glow calls for a decision to become a better you at all costs. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           No matter what it takes, you will make decisions that are best for you
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           . Change is a big concept that some may experience ‘metathesiophobia’ (fear of change) at the thought of. Nonetheless, if you never challenge yourself, how can you determine whether you have reached your greatest depth of potential? How can you explore yourself? How do you make steps toward finding out and fulfilling your purpose?
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Finding your glow starts with you
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           . Right now, I challenge you to make the decision to grab your crown, step out in faith, and grow to your glow for you. You may be lost, in a heap of confusion and fear. Whatever place you are in right now mentally, spiritually, physically and/or emotionally, decide to make decisions that benefit you from here forward. You can do it! I’ve made the decision for me. Make the decision for you.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            ﻿
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Let’s start small. Here are some things 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           you can begin
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           now
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           :
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;ol&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Think of things that make you happy
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            . Go do one of the things that came to mind. Whether it’s as simple as singing in the shower or fixing up to go out.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Put on your favorite fragrance, lip gloss, or shoes
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            .
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Beat your face!
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
             Slay those eyebrows. Apply and bat those lashes.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Put on your favorite piece of clothing
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            . Something comfortable that flatters you.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Speak with a tone that dares to be heard
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            . Give your voice some volume. When you say no, mean it.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Only say yes to things that you desire
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            . Don’t say yes to please someone else.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Acknowledge your feelings
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            .
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Make a list of things you want to change and steps to change them
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            . Your list may include things you want to change within yourself or in reference to others (contemplation of negative thoughts, engagement in toxic activities, etc.)
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Make a list of things you want to do
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            . Try to include things that scare you a little. As the saying goes ‘do something that scares the H-E-Double Hockey Sticks out of you’! These are the things that will challenge you and push you to grow the most.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Smile
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            . Even when things aren’t the best. Smiling increases and encourages positivity. You need a positive mind to extenuate change for a better you.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/ol&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Make the decision. Go forth and begin to work on your glow for you!
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
